PMTT - Facebook Fantasy Fishing Contest.
New in 2023 we will have a pick the winners contest for each qualifier. On the Monday before each event we will release the full line up of teams for that event.
- Pick the top 3 finishers in exact order and you will win a free entry to a PMTT qualifying event $700 value!
- In case of a tie we will draw from all correct entries for one winner.
- If no one picks all 3 places correctly we will draw from all entries that had the closest guess for a lure prize pack!

Forward Facing "Live" Sonar
As many of you know, we have been researching the Forward Facing Sonar - Live Sonar and other like technology’s use during PMTT tournaments going forward. We not only requested feedback from the PMTT Trail Team members to give their opinions and views but gathered data and information, from across the fishing industry and beyond. We explored other tournaments, tournament circuits, other species and consulted with people throughout the fishing industry.
Everyone at the PMTT is always striving for what’s best for the PMTT, its anglers and the resource, even if the decisions made are not the popular one or the favored opinion and methods. After we compiled all of this information, we then viewed it from several different angles. It was weighed out as to the positives and negatives, its impact either way on the tournaments and playing devil’s advocate with the scenarios, cause and effects with each of these and how they could play out.
While we were equally concerned with what the PMTT anglers wanted, this was also weighed out heavily as to if we are hearing from the vocal minority or the masses with these thoughts and opinions. Through this, we have concluded that going forward, the Forward Facing Sonar - Live Sonar and all other like technology, will not be allowed for use during PMTT tournaments. These will be banned from two hours before the start of the first day of the tournament, until the end of the last day of the tournament.
This decision is for the 2023 PMTT season and not a permanent fixture in the PMTT as it will be re-evaluated throughout each season.

Recon Boats is Official Boat Sponsor of the PMTT
New PMTT - Recon Boats World Championship & Payout.
The PMTT and Recon Boats have officially teamed up for the 2022 season. We are extremely excited to be working together with such an incredible boat company as all Recon boats are manufactured in Iola, Wisconsin using American workers and American products. The 2022 PMTT Recon Boats World Championship will have a 1st place prize package of a new Recon 20’ - 2085T, with a tandem trailer, radio, keel guard and cover, powered by a 150hp Mercury Marine Outboard with power steering and rigging included valued at over $50,000! The 2085T is a new model for Recon boats in 2022 and should be a great fit for an already great lineup. In talking with John Johnson, founder and owner of Recon boats, we expressed some of our concerns and he gave us his personal guarantee that the winners of the Recon Boats World Championship will get their rig without delay and in a timely fashion. Also, the winners would be allowed to upgrade or choose a different model if they so choose.
It is going to be an incredible year for the PMTT and we can’t wait to see everyone on the trail.

The PMTT TTAP Incentive!
Trail Team Advantage Program - TTAP. Trail Teams have the opportunity to participate in the TTAP program, which will include contingency awards, bonus programs, prizes and giveaways for Trail Teams. This is our way of thanking and most importantly rewarding the anglers who make up the backbone of the PMTT, our Trail Teams.
- Entry into the Early Bird starting position drawing*
- TTAP Bonuses for Highest Place and Biggest Fish at each Event**

*Early Bird starting position, Free Entry into Event Drawings and Special Product Giveaways are only available for Trail Teams that signup before the March 1st deadline. We will do drawings for at least one free entry into each of the qualifying events throughout the season and a drawing before the Championship for all TTAP teams that qualify for the Championship. Following the Early Bird drawing we will draw one TTAP team for a free entry into the Championship, if that team qualifies for the Championship, they will receive free entry into the Championship. Teams that win a free entry and have already paid will have their entry fee refunded. All free entries to Qualifiers and the Championship are non-transferable.
**Optional at every tournament, exclusively for any Trail Team that wants to participate whether or not they sign up by the March 1st TTAP Deadline. There will be a side pool of $100 (optional) per Trail Team with 100% payout split between the participating Trail Team that catches the Largest Fish at the tournament and the Trail Team that places the highest in the field at the Tournament. If a Trail Team would like to participate in these contingency bonuses, at check-in for the event they will have the opportunity to enter. Entry is $100 cash per Trail Team (participation is optional), then at the awards ceremony the participating Trail Teams that have the Largest Fish and the Highest Placing finish will split 100% of that purse. This contingency prize is only available to participating Trail Teams and will not be available to non-Trail Teams or teams that sign up for all events one at a time. You must sign-up as a Trail Team to qualify for the $100 side pool TTAP Bonuses.
***During the Rules Meeting at each Qualifier we will draw two teams from the all the Trail Teams in attendance. Those teams will receive the #4 & #5 starting positions for that Qualifier.

3-Day Fishing Format For the PMTT Invitational World Championship!
The format for the PMTT Invitational World Championship tournament only (not qualifying tournaments) will be a 3-day format. Any team that qualifies for the championship & competes, must catch & register at least 1 musky during the first 2 days of the championship to continue on to the 3rd and final day. All points will carry over & the 3-day point total will determine the winner.
